Pros
None to mention. However if you are your manager's boot-licker and partake in office gossip, it is a different ball game
Cons
Character licensing is a declining industry and the company stays afloat on inherited deals and renewals. Very little road-map for the future or willingness to adapt to the changing landscape. New ideas will be met with eye rolls. Bullying is rampant and actively practiced by management (gossip, exclusion, laughing at others' expense. I also encountered more serious slurs including homophobic and antisemitism which were brushed off when I tried to address them). Managers are not appointed based on merit or abilities but rather being the kind of specimen that fits the company's culture and have spent their entire professional life within CPLG. There are far superior and more professional licensing agencies to gain experience in. Those that welcome diversity, new ideas and strive to improve their employees skills. Sadly none of this will be gained at CPLG, your confidence will be knocked greatly. AVOID.
