I have been working at Esri full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Self initiated. Very little handholding Can take on addl tasks or responsibilities to make yourself more aware of cross functional teams and begin building your reputation as a problem solver

    Cons

You take control yourself - fine for most of us that are mature enough to do so Some of the newer staff expect a "career path" but the entire company is yours to excel in

I have been working at Esri full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Jack D has an amazing vision. Benefits are decent. Lower stress environment if you have the right management. People generally believe in the company's vision so they have the same goals for level of customer service.

    Cons

Poor management, they choose people who don't know how to manage people and don't train them. The pay is not great unless you live in areas that are cheap, as they haven't figured out how to pay for the market of the employees location. They aren't keeping up with large companies in terms of paid leave for anything beyond birth mothers/fathers. No career path or advancement opportunities for most employees.

I have been working at Esri full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Esri is a great place to gain experience working in the tech world. It's great to know the company is helping so many people.

    Cons

Growth is tricky. The career path is nonexistent. Salaries are lower compared to other tech companies. It makes it difficult to live in Redlands with rents being so high.

I worked at Esri for less than a year

    Pros

Makes resume stand out ( Benefits for full time employees). Jack & Laura are nice. Michele&kc were helpful. Free coffee.. Woo

    Cons

Very boring. (Probably just applies to event marketing). Didn't seem as if there was much of a career path after. Most marketing coordinators don't make above 25/HR, which is a shame because I found a job that started me at 70k a few months later....
