      Beware

      Pros

I had a great sales manager! Flexibility and work/life balance was good.

      Cons

Too much focus on selling a TMS, rather than core products. Too many projects at once made it difficult to perform any of them really well. Upper management has no idea what goes on in the real world. Many sales positions were eliminated recently; I don't believe they're as financially stable as they'd like you to believe.

      Good paying industry; god-awful freightline

      Pros

Some good people, relatively good pay compared to others

      Cons

The disconnect between upper management and the bottom is huge. No regard for safety (OSHA would have a heart attack). No stock options; very totalitarian.

      Pros

The pay is good especially for part time

      Cons

Upper management is awful, supervisors are oblivious and you have to go out of your way to talk to them, it’s like they don’t care.

      Good Overall

      Pros

Good pay. Fair vacation time, with the option to roll over or cash out if unused. You are held accountable but NOT micromanaged which makes it more comfortable! Estes is in the top 5 LTL carriers, so there is brand recognition. Upper management seems to be involved & approachable. CEO & executives are regularly on company conference calls etc. Family owned company with no debt, which has helped us fair better than some competitors through Covid. Overall a good experience so far!

      Cons

Sometimes when there are service issues, it's difficult to get support or quick answers from the sources needed, which I know is not specific to this company. Slow to change, technology is lagging a bit behind competitors. Corporate customer service could be better.

      Pros

Got terminal manager fired. Before him it was great. Had an approachable terminal manager who used to be a driver and had an understanding of freight top to bottom.

      Cons

Should have gotten the people in office fired also. Hiring idiots from other trucking companies who try to bring in ideas that didn't work where they used to be employed, mainly upper management
