I have been working at European Investment Bank for less than a year

    Pros

    - as a full-time you get proper benefits and salary - work-life balance is great - mobility between different departments

    Cons

    - the internship program seems to be something they are forced to do but don't really want to - most interns feel useless and unwanted and are offered almost no benefits - slow and institutional with no apparent will to change - institution relies on the fact that it is supported by the member states and does not feel the need to improve or become efficient in order to be competitive - employees don't really... have the values you would expect at such an institution

    Advice to Management

    - don't hire interns cause you "need to" if they don't bring value or you don't have a proper career path in mind for them
