I worked at Eversheds Sutherland full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good access to resources, good precedents and a good opportunity to get a good name on your cv and work for household names on deals in the papers

    Cons

no concept amongst seniors of having a life outside work, working long hours and not being appreciated, no concept that you are a human being - you are just a set of billing and utilisation figures to your bosses

I worked at Eversheds Sutherland full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I loved working at Sutherland. You get the genuine sense that the people you work with respect you and your work. Also, unusually for a law firm, thinking outside of the box and looking into new workflows is encouraged.

    Cons

It comes with the territory, but there were some long hours.

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Eversheds Sutherland full-time for more than a year

    Pros

People allow you to grow and give you direct access to clients, even at Junior level.

    Cons

Very long hours for which you are not properly compensated and failure to understand that holidays/annual leaves should not be a time for work.

    Advice to Management

Be more mindful to the needs of the employees
