      Pros

      Company got some good longevity, and a decent client base.

      Cons

      Unfortunately the owners are a Narcissist and a sycophant, which results in bad decisions being made where in particular employees are concerned, the latter of the two continually telling the former that everything he does is great, in other words you will never get the backing you sometimes need to do your job effectively. Beware!

      I am the Sales Director at Excelerate. Excelerate Selection Ltd went through a Management Buyout in 2016 and there are now 2 owners. Previous to 2016 there has only been one owner of Excelerate who is now the Finance Director so the below reviews must be for a different organisation as they refer to 2 owners and there was only one at the time (there are other Excelerate's in energy etc). We are a Recruitment business, focusing on IT vacancies mainly and are currently a team of 9. I have asked Glassdoor to reassign the reviews to the intended company but they refuse to change unfortunately. If you are reading these reviews please remain open minded and address any concerns you have directly with me, another colleague or ex employee of Excelerate Selection Ltd and I am sure you will get a fair representation of our business.

      Pros

      Super friendly and welcoming company. The management team is great - if someone is struggling the director is very quick to help and find a solution for them to succeed further in their career.

      Limited parking spaces in the car park

      Pros

      The company is run extremely well from the top down. The owners have a relationship with all staff that I have rarely seen elsewhere, and this gives people a constant push and accountability to do well. The business is growing and every decision I make as a BDE or the consultants make really does change the course of the business & you can see your work paying off in terms of the growth. Progression is quick and rewarded. If you're looking for a close team to be a part of, Excelerate is the place to be. Couldn't recommend the company enough.
