I have been working at Expedia Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Really fast paced - there's always lots going on and plenty of interesting projects to get involved in Lots of career development opportunities Genuine, lovely, clever co-workers Great benefits! Travel allowance and travel discounts, wellness allowance to spend on gym membership etc as well as all the standard ones. Brilliant paternity leave. Relatively good work life balance, and very flexible working culture

    Cons

Lots of change, constantly, which can get tiring Can be really difficult to get things done across more than one division, as they all have different processes

I have been working at Expedia Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

it is not hard to not do too much at work...

    Cons

All the negative reviews are true. In EPS the data is bad, team are competing against each other, no team work, no investment in systems & technology ... The management team at director level is really not great... and the office politics is terrible. Recruiting people takes months and the turnover is huge... EPS ends up paying people to keep them happy and to keep them in their jobs rather than letting go the... poor performers and enforcing a sense of ownership/accountability to drive performance.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Expedia Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Salary good, perks travel and allowances

    Cons

No ambition innovation or conviction and always in the shadow of Booking.com Bonus / commission structure is arbitrary

    Advice to Management

Fine if you want to cruise along getting paid well for min effort but little opportunity to use your skills and talents to make a difference Too many hidden agendas and politics in the workplace, to challenge processes and make a difference you risk being singled out and made to feel uncomfortable Listen to your teams and take action not just when there’s a company survey. Your face has to fit within the... organisation. Too many are focussed on building their brand within Expedia and not on the job they are there to do. React quicker to market trends and shifts and innovate And for gods sake employ leaders in management roles, not self righteous arseholes
