    Pros

Great Team Atmosphere and an amazing company to work for. Expedia really supports you as an employee and ensures you are given everything you need in your role.

    Cons

You can easily hit a ceiling in your job. Changing Levels can we very tricky. Can focus more on how you can progress in your career

    Advice to Management

need to set out more clear paths to growth within the company. Career development really needs to be addressed

I have been working at Expedia Media full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

the location, flex hours, people, good company in general.

    Cons

because it is a big company you feel often like a small cog unable to make a difference.
clearly depending on the location you work, you are not as valued as colleagues from other offices.

    Advice to Management

make people feel that they have real value, even if the department does not generate direct income make sure they are as important.

I worked at Expedia Media full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great colleagues on the whole - everyone who was on the same level as me was really supportive and helpful.
    Great perks, trips etc.

    Cons

Opportunities only there for those who tow the line, and don't ask any questions of management.
    Little room for free thinking/suggestions
Lots of box ticking (peril of a big company I suppose)
Not enough support for new management

    Advice to Management

Listen to your more junior employees - there are a lot of good ideas that they are discussing which they don't bother raising up the levels because they know they won't be listened to.

Very fun an exciting culture, intelligent and creative coworkers, supportive and helpful managers, commitment to employee development, travel perks, frequent celebrations and fun events on campus

I have been working at Expedia Media full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You are in control of your own career and are only limited by your own determination. Perks are around every corner. Flexible schedules. The pay is decent for entry level positions in the Springfield MO area and the benefits are fabulous. 401K matching up to 4%. Free Starbucks all day, plenty of vacation time, travel reimbursement, fitness reimbursement for anything that promotes fitness from fitness gear to gym memberships or classes. Medical doesn't eat up all your salary. Who you are as a person is just as important and even more than what you are on paper. I've been around the employment spectrum and I would say this is the yes company I have ever worked for. Honestly.

    Cons

The schedules for some of the entry level positions leave something to be desired, but everyone has to pay their dues and performance will get you higher up in rankings to pick better schedules. Permanent schedules in other departments are the best I have ever had. Flexible. Flex time. Couldn't wish for more.

    Advice to Management

I don't have any advice for my current supervisors because they really do listen to us
