Pros

Flexible schedule and coworkers who care about you and step in to help when needed

Cons

Upper management is very secretive and gossipy. I definitely felt a lot of what the other reviewers shared, but not to the same degree.

Pros

The entire team is supportive, encouraging, and hardworking. Everyone is always willing to jump in and help wherever needed. Management is very patient and understanding with those who are new and still learning and they are not afraid to take time away from their busy workload to help. The owner encourages open communication and strives to maintain a positive and fun work environment for all. The profit sharing plan is a huge incentive and reflects the owner’s desire to reward the team for our efforts. There are opportunities to travel complimentary to the destinations that we specialize in, a generous PTO plan, and great insurance benefits.

Cons

I have not experienced any of the cons noted in former employee reviews. I will admit that I was a bit nervous after reading through them before I interviewed for the position, but I believe that there will always be a group of dissatisfied employees at any company. During the pandemic the travel industry was one of the hardest hit, and the subsequent lay offs were difficult but necessary in order for agencies to stay alive. While I empathize with their experience, I can confidently say that from day 1 I have had a fantastic experience with zero complaints.

Manipulative. Beware new hires.

Pros

I was let go due to Covid. The biggest blessing in disguise as I was too frightened to leave. My self esteem had disappeared over the many years that I worked here.

Cons

Examples from everyday life at ET: I sat in the owners office and look at the wall to see that he has pinned up an apology letter from his preteen daughter. I feel like he managed us at the maturity level of his kids at the time. If something went wrong, he wanted an apology. The pinnacle of what made him proud and his perceived 'power'. When a big group of us were fired due to Covid, he told us all in a final staff meeting to be very careful of our actions after this and how it would reflect on us. Another way to try and silence our voices.
