I worked at Experis full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great place with great people. Will take people with no experience and train them as long as they have the right work ethic.

    Cons

Terrible start salary for trainees. However i have to say if your willing to work hard you can earn plenty overall with commission.

    Advice to Management

Always found the board level fantastic. A little more time with the troops on the ground would be great.

I worked at Experis full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Part of a global organisation, some very tenacious people and talent to draw upon, some fantastic SME's (some of the best in the business) and some very interesting 1st generation clients

    Cons

Totally disjointed from the other brands, global but regionally operated, nothing in the way of technology investment, a lot of over inflated self opinions and second tier clients at best. Crucially, no innovation, no ideas, tech, methodology or plan

    Advice to Management

It's very hard to make significant investments when margins are being reduced but technologically Experis was being left well behind. The gap was widening and it would take some brave decisions, "just make it work" isn't a sustainable long term strategy. This might have changed now that almost the entire board has changed

Provides an excellent level of service to candidates and clients alike. Employs intelligent and hard working individuals who collaborate to help them to continue to grow and continually improve its performance.

Can be a difficult introduction at an entry level role. However most industries are similar!

I have been working at Experis full-time

    Pros

I joined Experis in November 2011, I had 3 years experience as a new business consultant with a moderate amount of success working for small generalist IT recruitment firm. The thing that attracted me to Experis was their commitment to helping consultants grow their own business through becoming a specialist in a particular area of IT (for me that was Information and IT Security). Through a mixture of hard work,...

    Cons

The recruitment software we use isn't cutting edge, however I have been assured that this is being addressed before the end of 2016.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work, keep investing in passionate people who are driven and can be the leaders of the company in the future.

I have been working at Experis full-time

    Pros

    * Good senior management * Approachable board members * Listens to, and acts on new ideas * Excellent incentives * Not a company that looks at staff as "only as good as your last month" * Excellent commission structures

    Cons

We tend to want to please ManpowerGroup too much and are often dictated to by them. This has meant a much slower investment in new, much needed technology; should be able to act with more independence given our success and growth, but understandable reasons why we can't.

    Advice to Management

You run a great company, but lets set realistic budgets. Our success, and year on year growth often feels like failure.

I have been working at Experis for more than 5 years

    Pros

On top of the Basics and fundamentally sound with what to do and how to do it...Onboarding and Top Tier Clients...they definitely show that they value you throughout the hiring process...

    Cons

I have to think about it, off the top of my head. Sometimes they may not totally realize your capabilities from your resume and should consider inquiring on adjacent skillsets to their requisites to vet whether there's a fit.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing!

I have been working at Experis for less than a year

    Pros

Experis treated me from the first conversation and still to this point today. Experis has always made me fill that I was #1. Experis has my total trust. I have two of the best in the business that represent me and all ways seem to be on point and ready for any problem that i may have. That is Jeffrey Swift and T.J. Leonard. I have talked to many recruiters before. Never have I dealt with two classier stand-up guys.

    Cons

The on-boarding process is the only thing I would change, personally its just in-depth and lengthy.

    Advice to Management

When filling positions with unknown people Experis treats it as if it is a chemistry equation. Breaks it down to a science.
