    Cons

No cons - if you work hard then you are appreciated. We get all of the tools and support needed to be successful. You do have to motivate yourself more when you aren't micromanaged but I much prefer this. You get treated with more respect and feel like an adult.

    I worked at Experis full-time

    Pros

    - Nice offices based in the heart of London. - The in-house trainer is quite good. - A lot of drinks on the terrace once every quarter. - I liked most of the people who I worked with. - The Christmas ball was held in the Natural History museum which was good.

    Cons

    - Below market basic salary and commission scheme. - Us and them mentality between the senior management (Board members & managers who have been at Experis for 5+ years) and the rest of the staff. The people high up are not inspiring. As other people commented, it was Manchester focused. - Commission structure is pretty awful. 8% flat rate to begin with and a confusing commission structure that can only be good...

    Advice to Management

Simplify the commission structure. Senior management needs to be restructured. Outline long term plans with recruiters.

I have been working at Experis full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Nice building, lots of place to stretch around, sales environment, we banged the desks every time someone rings a bill.

    Cons

All boys club and every person to himself, people were rude- no one respected you. management was all over the place, we were forced to lie on the phone about the company and incentives. No real training, awful really. Commission was not realistic, sold dreams when first joining of 30-40k in first year. Realistically it would be good if you hit 20 after your 16k basic salary.

    Advice to Management

Stop being so overpowering to your employees and sort out the commission scheme.

I worked at Experis full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very little pressure In-house trainer is quite good Monthly high-performer lunches Manager's favourites are the 'golden boys' and can do no wrong Good interaction with director 360 consultants they have are rubbish, making it easier to stand out!

    Cons

Atmosphere is like a school common room - very childish and different cliques Incredibly low salaries with zero real increases Incredibly incompetent on-site account managers Managers move goal posts in order to not promote/give payrises Very poor commission scheme for managing resourcers (2%) Forced to work rubbish roles on big accounts - as low as 6% margins and <£20k salaries, regardless of seniority Bullying;...

Former Employee - Recruiter in London, England

I worked at Experis full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

You can bill under £20k a year and not get fired as the place is so terrible they simply can't recruit any talent. Sometimes you see a helicopter out of the window.

      Cons

-Management knows nothing about recruitment. Quite a disturbing sexual harassment case involving senior members of staff happened in December 2013 and they are still there. -Payroll offers no support and gets upset at the noisy nature of the sales floor. -Sales floor is like walking among tombstones. -0 talent coming in. you'd think a recruitment company would understand what makes a company great and how to,...
