    Positive Outlook

I worked at FCA as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Loads of learning sessions and chances to shadow Associates across the organisation
    - Little pressure to stay late
    - Enjoyable work offering great overview of the Financial Services industry
    - Nice people with a lot of time to talk

    Cons

    - Did not feel as if I was pushed or given any great deal of responsibility
    - A lot of admin style work

    Advice to Management

Encourage managers to find projects to really get your teeth in to and be prepared to give people tasks that they will fail at first time round - as this would provide even better learning. But in general you are doing a good job.

  2. "Friendly but lack of direction"

I worked at FCA as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people, nice hours and very interesting and rewarding work.

    Cons

There are silos in the department. The career progression can be slow. The HR are understaffed and are hence very slow! The work can be overburdened with rules and procedures.

    Advice to Management

To speak to the whole department and to other departments so you can be aware of what is going on.
