Pros
15% discount Can have long careers (even if you do the bare minimum at any level within the company ) Do not discriminate Will offer hours to work around your schedule
Cons
They promote honesty throughout their company yet do not trust their staff, I.e staff searches every shift, they have the right to search your personal vehicle written into your contract and will implement this, they repeatedly dropped hours instore but asked more and more from the staff, stocktake happened every 2 weeks for months, staff constantly feel scrutinised and watched by upper management, you feel asif there's no communication as nobody seems to know anything that's going on until 2 minutes before it happens, overall I get the feeling that this company has gotten worse over the 2 and a bit years I was with them they are not listening to advice from the shop workers I.e moving certain high value products away from easily shopplifted aisles. Due to the lack of instore hours and paperwork/ordering time constraints managers aren't able to interact with all the new staff as much as needed in order to correctly train them and observe how they work within the team. When the managers do have time , they have to put stock on the shelves, unfortunately because of the time it takes to order stock they don't have much time putting stock out and to work with the team before they have to start paperwork in preparation for closedown. Due to the inability to train staff correctly because of time constraints there is a very high turnover of staff meaning a team doesn't get to work together long before it changes or other shops have to send workers over to provide support this in personal experience can last weeks as once they have support there, there doesn't seem to be a rush to hire anybody new Overall listen to the people that work in the stores with their combined years of experience running the actual shops rather than going off a once a month visit to the shop and statistics, the stores need more hours and staff, please listen to us when we say it is a very tiny percentage of us if any is taking or stealing stock atleast 98% of any missing stock can be accounted for as stolen or written off because its gone out of date as we have had it in our back up stock for too long or we have seen it walk out the door
- Former Employee, more than 8 years★★★★★
Pros

Cons
Can be harsh and more interested, in discipline Can be very busy dependant on store size and location
