Pros

Farrans have a good structure for development and great projects which really sets you up to leave and succeed at another company.

Cons

Very rigid structure, Pay is not reflective of skill level, would rather lose in house trained staff and replace with new staff than pay market value. Procurement team are unhelpful and rude. Poor company culture, expected to work longer hours than industry standard with no additional expense. No gratitude for going over and above. Had a very us and you fell to the company when speaking and dealing with office based and management staff.

Pros

Leaving is the best thing.

Cons

Where to start? Discrimination sexism and racism is all part of the Farrans culture. An old boys club where putting people down and degrading them is all part of the fun for the site team, including managing surveyors and PM/SM's. They manage people out and have such a high turnover of staff, and treat the younger stuff with no respect.
