    Pros

Very nice firm to work for. People are lovely. Good work life balance. I only left because the work was too niche for me

    Cons

I cannot think of any other than the salary could have been a bit better

I worked at Farrer & Co for less than a year

    Pros

    - Hugely interesting work with high end clientele - Very friendly atmosphere for such a well reputed law firm - Appear to really invest in their trainees, providing world class training

    Cons

    - Not a hugely diverse place to work at, need to work on this - The offices could do with being modernised

I have been working at Farrer & Co full-time

    Pros

The title says it all. I have worked in large and small firms prior to this and was attracted to Farrer for its size and 'supposed' culture which turned out (for once) not to be just a rumour. Everyone is treated equally and the partners are actually a pleasure to deal with. Some kwirky...but tell me a law firm who doesn't have one. Salaries are never going to compare to magic or silver circle...but if it's money you want, an up or out culture you desire and no work life balance...then look the other way because Farrer is not the place for you then.

    Cons

A canteen would go a long way!

I worked at Farrer & Co full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Pay is relatively competitive. interesting history of the building...nice selection of teas? I haven't much more to add to be honest.

    Cons

Old fashioned and ran by old dinosaurs. Worst office atmosphere. Senior management think they are embracing change but in reality they could not have been more resistant! No real strategic direction and always seems to be one step behind others in the market.

I worked at Farrer & Co

    Pros

    - 2 week internship - Working with very smart people - Work was varied and seat rotation made changed things up often - Mock pitch at the end of the week was stressful but rewarding

    Cons

    - very studious environment, not that buzzy or collaborative but I guess it is a law firm after all - balance was hard to get right between training sessions and talks and actually getting work done
