      -Everyone cares about the product and the mission behind it -Co-workers are incredibly talented

      -Inexperienced leadership on People team -Upward mobility and performance feedback feel rooted in nepotism -Benefits are lackluster -Did not feel like an inclusive environment

      Pros

      I can influence the direction of the product if you can make a compelling case. All my coworkers are engaged with their work and enjoy coming to work (most) days. It makes a huge difference to work with a bunch of people who are happy with their jobs. The tech stack is safe (Node 10 + Typescript + MySQL 8) and leadership understands the importance of refactoring + effective integration testing. Hiring process tends to select for people with high EQ, not just skills.

      Cons

      Culture is in the process of being defined. As the company matures, it's becoming less of a startup and starting to put processes in place.
