I have been working at Ferrero full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Free gym Good times at agencies

    Cons

Everything where do I start.... Technology is so old... Not allowed mobile phones... Working from home is a joke the company say they allow it but reality is you can only do one day a week and not the same day each week! How in flexible! Salary is terrible it's as if it's been frozen in time from 5yrs ago and paid a graduate pay for experience it's an insult. The poor pay is driving people to leave and HR do nothing about it. Burnout culture from constantly having work changed after it has been done you will get told oh group ask for x instead so go and redo it. No autonomy in decision making at all. So many people are sick it's bad and still come to work due to stress and so many gaps in teams makes burnout even worse covering the gaps or maternity. No career paths. Objectives are set late making it impossible to achieve them.

I have been working at Ferrero full-time for more than a year

    Pros

None that I can think of

    Cons

This has to be the worst company I’ve ever worked for, people are awful to work with and extremely arrogant. The company seems to struggle financially as they have no budget for anything, no technology, the devices they provide are terrible. Salaries are so low which is strange for supposedly a big company (operates like a start up!) All decisions are made by Ferrero Group, UK entity has no power in making their own decisions. The company does not adapt to the country they operate in but instead prefers to keep working in a very old Italian fashion way. No flexible working even though they have a smart working policy to work from home once a week (it’s a lie) they do not like people to work from home! As the mentality is if you are working from home means you’re not working!!! No benefits a part from the standard ones (healthlcare, life assurance etc), don’t believe you’ll have loads of chocolate discounted once you’re there it won’t happen! No scheme to buy Ferrero products apart from Thornton’s (only if you go to the store). No diversity, all bosses are Italian. Macho and who to blame culture. Office location Greenford is awful. HR department is useless as well and have no clue of what’s happening in their client groups. I will highly recommend avoiding the company otherwise you’ll end up stressed and depressed for the majority of your time there.
