    Pros

    Great People; Great Rewards; Great Atmosphere.
    Sports & Social Club is incredible.
    Benefits were great for doing a great job.
    I really enjoyed my time there and would highly recommend Firstsource as a place to be part of.
    Thank you Firstsource for everything you did for me.

    Cons

    It's a fast moving business, but that's what made it a great challenge.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you are doing and continue to train the manager to be their best for their people.

    Pros

    The floor-walkers are friendly and helpful.

    Cons

    You have to be able to deal with a large quantity of customers one after the other, especially customer complaints and irate customers. (Which can be more difficult if the previous agent haven't done their job correctly)

    Also the shifts change on weekly basis and sometimes you may be working till 10pm (even on a Sunday) and can even get stuck on a call afterwards, which you have to resolve before you can end.

    Pros

    Full time job so keeps you busy. Easy job on the rbs contract

    Cons

    HR are rude and unhelpful. Managers are full of themselves and patronising. Job itself is mundane and no room to progress. Don't get proper sick pay and give a disciplinary if your sick or late on the odd occasion anyway. No incentives and wage is crap.

    Advice to Management

    Treat staff like people not Robots and defend agents against stuck up HR. Take on board when staff have a grievance don't just gloss over it.

    It was a job!

    Cons

    Favouritism, badly managed, deduct pay for a toilet break or if you have to fill out some forms for the job and you havfe to go into absent they deduct your pay! Dont reward the good workers they put them all in the same category so your work is unrecognised!

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your staff and maybe step the boundaries of higher management to keep your staff!

    Pros

    Annual leave is good and flexible. Triple time on Christmas and spread out over three pay packets to avoid tax.

    Cons

    Office politics like most places. 11 hour shifts bad if you have pets you can't get home to feed during breaks.

    Advice to Management

    Provide more incentive to do better and advance. The salary doesn't improve with job role advancement, I moved from customer service agent to case management and there was no rise.

    Pros

    Little other than the few decent people that are stuck there

    Cons

    Poor salary, stressful workloads, little to no benefits, very little job security, absolutely no acknowledgement of a job well done

    Start looking for jobs elsewhere, the call centre industry will disappear over the next 20years

    The people you work with.

    Cons

    Unfair treatment in the workplace. Micromanaging, although managers don’t do anything... they get paid 24k a year to sit on Facebook and Snapchat all day. Most of the management are completely out of it on drugs.
    You’re well-being is not cared for at all, the job literally leads you to extreme metal health issues. Constant exhaustion from long working hours. Not worth the money. Management say it’s the best call centre about, but you’re just a number to them. Personally I’d rather be jobless than work there. The calls are awful, constant abuse, racial slurs and sexual comments. Overall this is the worst place you could ever work, I would not wish the misery that this place makes you feel on anyone.

    Advice to Management

    Do some work. Care about your staff. Read up on data protection, bet customers would love to know you’re leaking their details. We are human not numbers.
