I have been working at Fitch Ratings full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work life balance is some of the best in the business. As a credit rating agency, Fitch is often the most conservative compared to its competitors (Moody's, S&P). Because of this, investors value Fitch's work quality above the others

    Cons

Salary is average to slightly below average for the industry at the analyst level.

    Advice to Management

Invest in more process improvements and technology improvements

I worked at Fitch Ratings full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great insight to gain an overview knowledge working in Financial Services

    Cons

Quiet Environment and no open communication and at least try not to be personal by cutting them out completely on important meetings

    Advice to Management

Focus more on getting to know your employees, focus on their strengths, maintain open communication and as a manager build your relationship with your team and at least try to separate being personal by using abusive language and maintain being professional at with your employees. I'm sure it's a good company but the department I was working for was just too bullish!
