Work you to death, expect a ton with VERY little pay, direct management will walk in either with a smile or a dirty look not greet any employees and go to back office and do computer work for hours.

I worked at Forever 21 full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The “set” schedule of 7-3 Monday-Friday with random Saturday or sundays

    Cons

Switched DM and DVM 5 times in 3 years.... still haven’t gotten PTO payout (have now been gone a month) after fulfilling two week notice.. Required to execute floorsets with no additional merchandising hours.. When having problems with other managers, upper management would not help resolve any issues and was lied to several times. Would also be told one way to merchandise from regional managers but told a completely different thing from district managers. I could keep going and going. I have worked at 6 different retail stores and this company is the absolute worst one! The PTO sucks and no sick time.

I have been working at Forever 21 full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Creative freedom, when able to

    Cons

    Literally everything else, upper management

    Advice to Management

Be realistic about things going on inside of stores. Do not expect success if you do nothing to set up stores for success. Recognize work/life balance. And the rules should apply to everyone, not just some.
