    Friendly staff, good opportunity to grow in career . Always pay in time and no problems.

    Short staff all the time. No extra for weekend or nights . Low money for tasks with responsibility

    I worked at Four Seasons Health Care full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Some colleagues Some lovely residents which I miss Hours are so long in one shift you can work 3 days and it be classed as full time.

    Cons

    It’s a very hostile working environment. A lot of back biting. A lot of cutting corners at the cost of employees and residents. Limited training i.e my manual handling last 15 minuets. Wasn’t offered a uniform until I handed my notice in which is ludicrous. Forced to wake residents in the early hours of the morning to bed wash in order to make the day staffs job early ( I think that may be called instructional abuse?)...

    Advice to Management

    People don’t leaving companies, they leave poor management. Treat your employees like human being and maybe your turn over of staff won’t be so high.

    Throughout my stay, the health care assistants are willing to give you a hand if you are struggling to deal with one of the residents.

    Cons

    During at my stay in this company for 5 months, it has been experiencing constant short of staff.

    Worst company for bullying and underling staff in front of others, seniors and management are the worst

    Advice to Management

    Protect your staff and just because you employ your family as seniors under you does not mean they are always right, tray all staff fairly and correctly, unfortunately four seasons doesn't recognise that everyone is entitled to be treated fairly

    Cons

    Some nurses, management not listening to you with concerns and no disciplinary action. Rota done with not asking if you can cover or not.

    Advice to Management

    Have nurses who really do care about the residents on. Listen to your care assistants.

    Pros

    To help the elderly and be there for the residents, making a difference putting a smile on someone’s face, which I love about the job.

    Cons

    Poor management, it’s about who you know not what you know. Staff to resident ratio needs to be addressed, unsafe work loads

    Advice to Management

    To get manager who is not swayed easily by other people’s opinion. Work professional. Look at staffing levels

    Pros

    Most Senior management seem genuinely interested in thier staff. Good audit tools (i-pads) and in the main, genuinely caring staff teams.

    Cons

    Uniforms for staff...stop being so mean on these, now they don't provide trousers, just tunics. Not on!

    Advice to Management

    If you look after your staff, they'll look after your customers. It's that simple (thank you to Richard Branson for this)
