I have been working at Four Seasons Health Care part-time

    Pros

To help the elderly and be there for the residents, making a difference putting a smile on someone’s face, which I love about the job.

    Cons

Poor management, it’s about who you know not what you know. Staff to resident ratio needs to be addressed, unsafe work loads

    Advice to Management

To get manager who is not swayed easily by other people’s opinion. Work professional. Look at staffing levels

I have been working at Four Seasons Health Care full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I have worked at Four Seasons for over a year, and the change I've seen in this time has been phenomenal. The organisation is working as a whole to ensure that everyone does their upmost to make a difference to residents, relatives and employees across the board. Keep it up!

    Cons

Sometimes some of the language on the materials produced can be confusing - but this is being looked in to which will have a further impact in the future.

I have been working at Four Seasons Health Care full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Having worked for Four Seasons Healthcare for over 10 years in various roles and still currently employed as Clinical Lead Nurse (Registered Adult Nurse) in one of their Care Homes in the north west, looking back to where the company was 10 years ago to where it is now, there have certainly been significant changes and that for the better, I can positively say the improvements of Four Seasons started from the arrival...

    Cons

Wages need to be fair for nurses across the board – each home pays differently

    Advice to Management

Lack of clinical skills training such as venepuncture – the company need to look at online booking system within the group for staff to book training, there needs to be a continuous roll of training for all staff to obtain the skills and maintain these. E-learning needs to contain more nursing theory courses such as ANTT. Lack of career opportunities for nurses that want to further their careers. Documentation...

I have been working at Four Seasons Health Care full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Their values and motto is good and they have high standards in regards to the care they provide. It's also nice to know that you are making a difference to people's lives.

    Cons

It can at times feel like it's just a business to them. It is very expensive for residents to live in their homes. They take no notice whatsoever of their employees.

    Advice to Management

Management need to take more time to speak with residents and families in their homes to further develop the care they give and should also speak with staff working in their homes. They barely come in to check if residents are enjoying their time living in their homes and never ask staff if they are happy working in them.

I have been working at Four Seasons Health Care part-time

    Pros

The only worthwhile thing about working here is looking after the residents knowing your making a difference to them

    Cons

Bullying, under staffed, under paid, never enough resources eg gloves, aprons, pads. budgets for food, activites for residents is horrendous, passing the blame, too much about paper work and not care of the residents, whistleblowing leads know where, everything is brushed under the carpet.

    Advice to Management

Work the floor and realise what the carers do, stop the scaremongering tactics, support your staff, pay increases for bank holidays four seasons are not the law.
