I have been working at Frankie & Benny's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

One free meal on shift. That's about it.

    Cons

No team work or support. Minimum wage. Should be paid more. Bad attitude from all staff. Don't care about staff. Staff are just a number.

    Advice to Management

Say well done or thankyou or encourage staff to keep going.

    I worked at Frankie & Benny's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Really good tips, free meals on shift (generally smaller/lunch menu)

    Cons

Turn over rates mean getting along with staff is a mixed bag. Some people you get on with others you don't.
Very corporate, care for maximising profit.

    Pros

Good salary compared to over company’s.

    Cons

Expect to work 7 days with no support and then when something does go wrong expect to get the full blame for it.

    Advice to Management

Do not take a job for TRG

I worked at Frankie & Benny's (More than a year)

    Pros

Made some friends with fellow levelled staff

    Cons

They tell you that you have contracted hours but will send you home if it’s not busy so I never worked my full contracted hours. One week I only worked 20 mins!

Work is hard and constant, you have to be smiley to customers while getting shouted at by management when you go out the back. Breaks are rare and if you complain about not having a break during an 8 hour shift you are seen as weak. Overheard area managers saying that they like to employ teenagers because they don’t worry about their hours to much - they like to earn pocket money and are happy to have a shift cancelled because then they can ‘watch Netflix’, and they never complain about being shouted at or breech of contract. This sums it up! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

    Advice to Management

Care about your staff and keep your promises about contracted hours

    I worked at Frankie & Benny's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Hours are flexible
Pay is really good considering how young you can start working as a waiter/waitress
You build really good working relationships so you look forward to going into work

    Cons

The hours can be long at times, and since you are on your feet most of the time it gets a little tiring.
When it gets very busy you can feel the pressure, but that comes with any role in hospitality
Not always proud of the food you have to serve to the customers

    Advice to Management

Don't bring personal grudges into the workplace. Ended up leaving F&B's when my manager had a grudge against me and rather than trying to sort it out decided to interfere with my work life. Things like that shouldn't happen, and it normally doesn't, this manager was just an anomaly thankfully.

I worked at Frankie & Benny's (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Was fun to interact with customers and the vibe of the restaurant COULD be nice and chilled

    Cons

They barely gave me any training whatsoever and whenever I came to management or co-workers for help, they would be very unhelpful and act as though I was a nuisance
