I have been working at Freese and Nichols full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Freese and Nichols treats their employees very well. There is a lot of expertise in this company and opportunity to work on complex high profile projects early on in your career. Morale and rapport is very high with our clients.

    Cons

There seems to be favoritism amongst some of the leadership. Yearly pay raises are not too spectacular, but its a great place to work. Nevertheless, I would much rather work in a welcoming environment with lower pay, than a toxic environment with higher pay.

I have been working at Freese and Nichols full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The FNI company culture is one that focuses on work life balance, family, and valuing it's employees. They do a great job of working around employee schedules and needs. Everyone is friendly and there to do a good job.

    Cons

There are a lot of great people working there that happen to come from very similar backgrounds and socioeconomic status. At times this lack of diversity can be off putting if you don't come from that same background.

I have been working at Freese and Nichols full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Quality is a top priority and get to work with truly great people. Good work life balance and the company is transparent. Very low turnover rate, and company makes an effort to retain employees during lows.

    Cons

Needs better mid-level managers to monitor project progress and employee performance on specific tasks. As the company continues to grow, there are more and more slackers that do not have aligning values with the company. Not a lot of opportunities to advance since a lot of people stay at this company.

I have been working at Freese and Nichols full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Nice co-workers, good company culture, lay back environment, flexible schedule, care about clients

    Cons

Some groups and offices are heavy in favoritism and politics; some managers are only good at lip services; very few opportunities to advance for mid-career professionals; below industry average compensation and benefits.

I worked at Freese and Nichols full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Flex time, average benefits. Average salary.

    Cons

My fellow coworkers were very petty, political, backstabbers. Office politics was terrible. Could not recommend working in this group. Some parts of the company were ok - other parts - not so much.

I worked at Freese and Nichols full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I am at a loss of words here.

    Cons

I gave the 2 week notice for my voluntary separation and 2 days later, management sent me home with a 2-hr notice to pack and leave the company premises. I was planning to properly hand off or complete ongoing projects but didn’t have a chance to do that and properly say goodbyes to some of my colleagues.
