    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Fund for the Public Interest full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Gained experience in telefundraising and canvassing, feedback and training can be helpful.

    Cons

Pay, culture and campaigns are bad. Mainly a white, middle class staff that has no idea of let alone commitment to justice. Not radical at all. Toxic. Beware.

I worked at Fund for the Public Interest full-time for less than a year

    Pros

freedom and independence when working. good hours and they hire pretty much anyone. There are some cool people working too

    Cons

you have to memorize a long script that you practice every morning with your team. Canvassing is perhaps the worst job you can do. People hate you coming to your door and you're not even selling anything. You just want their money for a charity. You also need to meet a minimum weekly amount or you get fired. Most of the money you raise just goes to your own salary or your boss's salary. The people who donate think you are volunteering and don't realize they are just paying your wage
