Needs to do better

Pros

Working with fellow coworkers at the office. Monthly meetings with lunch provided. They finally offered vision insurance.

Cons

Management didn't have a grasp of the company. Some employees are allowed to work remote (that should be in the office) others are not. Most of the time the managers didn't even know their employees don't report to the office since they don't bother to check on them. They have managers and above in place that have been with the company since existence or thru acquisitions that they really need to review to determine if they are suitable for the role due to company growth. That is especially true for the HR department. We finally received a real HR rep in our office only for them to eliminate the position. The other people in the department act as if they never know what is going on and maybe its because they don't have the experience. At least 2 of the 3 left don't have a clue and that includes the Director. The other never had any HR experience at all but they brought her into the role. For the first time in over a year we finally started to feel like the executives were listening to our office but that was a slap in the face. We are back feeling like the step children. It needs to be more training company wide in customer care if you want them to field calls. If they are the first point of contact ensure they can speak intelligently to your customers. I guarantee if you hire qualified people and pay them respectfully you will see improvement all across the board. Benefits could be better. They don't offer orthodontics or short term disability.

Pros

Casual environment with (almost) industry-standard compensation and long term stability.

Cons

Ethics, integrity, and overall direction run a bit short at times and morale could stand some improvement.
