      Declining Culture

      Pros

      Relatively flexible work arrangements and opportunity to work on challenging but rewarding projects with some high profile customers across Australia and New Zealand.

      Cons

      The culture seems to be declining as the company grows. Treatment of employees can be poor and immediate business needs are nearly always put above employee wellbeing. There are internal politics which breeds criticism, disrespect, and negativity. Often lacking in resource, so expect to be worked over time and under pressure.

      We agree that Culture is a big focus and big item for all companies, including Fusion5. We've just had a fantastic response to our 2019 people survey and know we are heading in the right direction. Good to Great.

      Culture needs improving, but flexible work options

      Pros

      - Flexible work arrangements, especially if public transport works impact getting to work - Social environment encouraged - Staff achievements celebrated at monthly meetings - Approachable senior leadership

      Cons

      - Poor culture, and minimal investment to improve it - a company this size should have an HR team bigger than 2-3 people. Don't just ask existing staff with no HR experience to volunteer as advocates, actually invest in it. - Does not feel like a safe or comfortable environment for women - a "boys will be boys" approach to managing comments about poor behaviour - Not fully utilising great people, great team members and passionate contributors continually cycling through the business

      Its disappointing to hear your feedback. You are most welcome to talk to me, our HR team or People & Culture team anytime. As you would see from our 2019 staff survey, our people rate us very highly on being a very safe and diverse business. We also have 50% women across the business, 50% women on the SLT and a woman CEO :). We take great pride in ensuring we are open, inclusive and address poor behaviour.       Good management always focused on the outcome. Good experience to learn technologies and practice.

      Least bothered on Employee retention. The HR team is useless.
