    I worked at G4S Compliance & Investigations full-time

    Pros

    Steady workflow. Direct supervisors are responsive and seem to care.

    Cons

    Training is negligible. Low pay. No real raises. When they came (averaged one raise every three years or so for me) they were $0.30 (ish).

    Pros

    Remote work available for most corporate positions

    Cons

    Low pay, low growth opportunity, need to work excessive OT to make ends meet. No annual increases, management is not accessible. Emails and phone calls go largely ignored.

    Family-like environment; free coffee; holiday celebrations are always fun; and the executives are really personable and fun to be around.

    Cons

    Low pay; little opportunity for growth (small company); and if you aren't into a close-knit office environment then that can be a con also.

    Pros

    You get to work alone.

    Cons

    Low pay, you will run your car literally to the ground, hours are crazy, management is an absolute joke with the exception of a few. Human Resources is unprofessional and will ignore you. Endless emails about irrelevant issues, training is a joke, you will not receive a raise or the 2% cost of living raise as promised, they expect you to be a rockstar and give absolutely nothing in return, and several disgruntled employees. It is shocking that this company generates money.

    The Investigation Manager is great!

    Cons

    Absolutely everything...arrogant case managers who treat the field investigators like peons; low pay, jerky payroll lady (not Lorena); tedious nightly payroll input; inefficient scheduling process on extranet; incompetent IT, 90 day wait period for all benefits except health insurance; daily trips to gas station; and an obnoxious amount of "you must do it this way" mentality. G4S C&I has a grading system identical to college...you get graded on the reports you submit and ideally should maintain a 3.70 GPA. These grades are made by the case managers; so if they like you, you do well; if not, you're screwed.
