I have been working at GDF SUEZ full-time

    Pros

Great place to work if you're looking for an easy life with a 9 to 5 very easy job to do.
The compensation & benefits are great compared to the difficulty and the value of the work done here.

    Cons

If you're looking for a meaningful job or having an impact in this world, please go away!
The projects are boring and meaningless.
This is a 50's company struggling to exist in the 21th century. The work culture is a thing of the past and the career opportunities are inexistant (unless you want to do the same job during your entire life).
Furthermore, mediocre people tend to get promoted faster as they are a safe bet.

    Advice to Management

A very 'command & control' way of managing people with a stifling hierarchy preventing good ideas and talented employees to rise.

I have been working at GDF SUEZ full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good Work Culture, Excellent opportunities for learning

    Cons

HR is extremely ruthless and would literally stop at nothing to keep the compensation and benefits to bare minimum. There have been instances of people getting promoted without any increment.

    Advice to Management

People are happy to work only if they believe that they are being compensated adequately for their skills
