      No Direction, Culture getting worse

      Everyone knows Everyone (Small-ish company) Free Snacks

      Cons

      Pay- Pay is low-average for experience. Techs with a 4-5 year experience gap make the same amount. Poor Management- Unrealistic expectations, No Common Direction. Thinks moving people around is going to magically fix everything. Lacking Backend Services- The company grew too quickly and doesn't have the systems to support production requirements. R&D or Production?- Production contracts have requirements and standards. This company was a R&D company and needs to split the two disciplines. Favoritism- Hard to move up and advance if you're not in the 'Good Boys Club.'

      Had promise but poorly managed

      Pros

      Friendly people. Supported hybrid work. Good IT and got what I needed to do my work.

      Cons

      Management ignored issues employees raised. Promotions had little to do with capability. Most of the higher management were in that position due to being the early founders. Few were capable. Very few people actually worked from what I saw.
