Pros

They work with some awesome clients. If you like entertainment and working on emerging social platforms, you'll like the work enough to hang on for a bit.

Cons

- GLOW will encourage you to take time off, but you'll only get about an hour of rest before they start flooding your slack. - They don't know how to communicate or organize properly. - Colleagues are both catty and cliquey. They definitely peaked in high school as popular kids and cannot let that mentality go. - If you suggest anything outside the box, they will tell you it's a bad idea and gaslight you into thinking you don't know what you're talking about. - They view you as a cog in a machine and expect you to do they jobs of 3+ people. - People more senior will fall short in their own roles and then blame you, saying you were not proactive enough. - There is NO diversity and everyone thinks alike. - This company was so toxic I almost left the industry completely because it destroyed any joy I got from the role.

A place where dreams die...

Pros

GLOW gives you experience with seeing, being involved and having access to many moving parts of the digital marketing world. Remote work. Projects/clients get fun around the activation stages.

Cons

Oh buddy, where to start. Out of touch leadership. Benefits are sold as a glorious perk, but many unfair terms and conditions apply. Teams are overworked and underpaid from the accounting, strategy and creative/design spaces. Clients are prioritized heavily over even the wellbeing of the staff. Mass exits are being ignored and high-level work is being left to super junior people who are already overburdened. Lots of shtick and empty promises. Shady business practices from the top guys. Lots of favoritism. Arbitrary processes and promotions. Employees are expected to perform like robots. Just altogether will sink your dreams of growing and prospering in digital marketing.
