I worked at Gamesys full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

A great place to learn new things and prove yourself.
A lot of training is available if you ask for it.
    Great social communities.
I loved the "idea" of Gamesys DNA.

    Cons

People Management is probably the biggest problem.
Do not get promotions unless you ask for it, and then it still could take a while due to red tape.
Managers, not knowing how to help progress careers.
At least for me, any concerns/complaints made seemed to be just swept under the rug.
Towards the end of my time, Gamesys DNA had become a myth.

    Advice to Management

    Sort out people management.

Thanks for your feedback. It’s really important to us that all employees live and breathe the Gamesys DNA so to hear otherwise tells us we must try harder.

    I worked at Gamesys full-time

    Pros

    Relax atmosphere
    Gym
    Parties
    People (some)

    Cons

Gamesys, sadly is becoming a big onion with too many layers that make it imposible to take right decisions.
All the projects are delayed, really bad management, nothing is delivered on time and too many people involve and not always the right ones.
Decisions change weekly and nobody knows where we are going. Gamesys is not longer the company that used to be and nobody cares about employees. Real shame as it used to be one of the best companies I worked for but now it’s one of many.

    Advice to Management

Include in the DNA: “Be the employee” (and not just care about the Board and EXCO)
Be more open and communicate what is really going on and not play games on the quarterlies. We want to know about the business and the effect on the employees the rest is irrelevant.
Get rid of people who takes the wrong decisions and dont have a clue what they are doing.
