I worked at Gems Education full-time

    Pros

The schools, the teachers and there are good staff that survive for a short time in the corporate office

    Cons

Some bullying senior leaders and highly political environment. High management turnover due to being pushed out. A survival of the most politically astute rather than the most competent.

I worked at Gems Education full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Good working hours/ flexible working

    Cons

Senior Leadership team and European CEO have no idea how to deliver a long term strategy. Decisions are made hastily and there is a high turnover of staff as a result. HR do not always look out on the best interest of staff. There is a lot of redundancy and workers are not given a fair time to make a difference. Massive blame culture
