      Worst radio station in Tampa, Orlando area

      Pros

      Really there is nothing. The owner and his wife are just not smart or good people at all.

      Cons

      These people own a radio station and really don't understand advertising or radio. They run all of there stations by the seat of there pants. I really don't understand how the have stayed in business for so long. The rating for the station are very bad. They have no idea how many people are listening. They expect the sales people to sale the station but never talk about the ratings.If you want to get into radio don't go to Genesis communications. It is the bottom of the barrel. If you know someone in radio just ask them how Genesis is.

      Very good training program. Upper Management has solid vision for the company's future with its digital products including social media.

      Cons

      Desperately needs a promotions and marketing budget. The market somewhat knows of the company, but still an education process.

      Pros

      Learning experience for beginners straight out of college just to have something to place on resume- mostly because you do everything yourself and can get your hands in every department since there are so little employees and since management so blind to everyday happenings.

      Cons

      I've never experienced a worse management/ownership team in my life. They treat employees as a nuisance who should feel lucky to even have a job. No concerns were ever addressed. Kindness and politeness were non-existent, let alone appreciation. They berated employees and talked down to them constantly. Never seen anything like it in my life. I placed the keys down and walked out after 7 months- something I've never done in my whole career.
