      Pros

Excellent support from my supervisor, good overall post-graduate support from wider university. Relatively small university so processes and systems move more quickly than others!

      Cons

Remote working through covid has been quite lonely, but i have regular online catchups with my supervisor and fellow PhDs.

      Pros

Working with really nice colleagues and getting to know brilliant people. The facilities are ok in all fairness but not comparable with Strathclyde University. An eye opener in many respects. Cons

Principles and values are just big words thrown about. Senior executives are clueless and you will find yourself wondering how on earth they managed to get a job at all, never mind a job like that. There are good managers there that simply can't fulfil their potential due to a very stale executive culture that preaches equality of opportunity as a means to cover up a spineless culture of elitism and nepotism.

      Pros

GCU is focused on giving the students the best learning possible to assist them in their professional career once they have completed their degree.

      Cons

Glassdoor does not understand that some people do not have work experience and forces you to complete unnecessary documents out to join.
