    I worked at GlaxoSmithKline full-time

    Pros

    - Highly prepared and motivated colleagues
    - ambition to excell through science
    - international environment
    - fair salaries (market average)

    Cons

    - leadership changing in worse in terms of values
    - decision by consensus and overly complex structures
    - too academical and too inward looking strategies
    - too many intelligent people with very complicated ideas
    - work life balance was not as positive

    Advice to Management

    - streamline teams and decision making, but do not lose the original values of the company. To increase in commercial edginess its not necessary to become internally aggressive - the company lost its core values along the way in very few months..
