I have been working at GlaxoSmithKline full-time

    Pros

Lovely environment to grow, with lots of training, opportunities to try new skills, and a focus on behavior and personal development. increasing focus on driving change in the business

    Cons

slow to embrace and drive change at lower levels, risk averse and process heavy, although this is now changing under new leadership

I have been working at GlaxoSmithKline full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Inclusive, Diverse, Employee Focused and Genuine Patient Driven Focus. Colleagues are supportive, driven and the company offers opportunities to develop in career to those who aspire for it and demonstrate impact. Fair salary given balance of work/life. Fantastic culture and values and company tries hard to stay true to them and re-assess them as needed.

    Cons

Given how large company is, at times people who shout loudest can be recognised in spite of minimal work/impact they have.

    Pros

Great people, great culture and a site director that knew everyone by name and treated everyone with equal respect - very rare. Very collaborative and employee centric. Pay and benefits exceptional. Would not have left if I hadn’t have been made redundant.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Keep listening to your employees - whatever you are doing, you are doing it right!
