I worked at Godiva Chocolatier full-time

    Pros

Pay for office roles is decent. Benefits are pretty good. Bonuses can be very generous despite underperforming business. A lot of the people are great to work alongside.

    Cons

I rated the company two stars instead of one to recognize the hard working people, both in the office and the field, who are doing their level best despite awful upper management and ever-dwindling resources. I feel bad for employees who are doing the job of three people and feel stuck. Also, the systems are ancient.

I worked at Godiva Chocolatier full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great pay for management, good employee discount, excellent benefits for management that start on day one, free samples of new product

    Cons

No support from upper management. They have done away with the District Manager role leaving the Regional Managers with far too many stores and far too much on their plate. Too few in HR working to onboard new employees, outdated operating systems and multiple programs that do not share information with one another, outdated/damaged computers and equipment, terrible wifi connection making it difficult to complete tasks, extreme micro management from higher ups resulting in 20+ emails per day

I have been working at Godiva Chocolatier full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

My Associates i work directly with everyday. The 40% discount is awesome.

    Cons

I used to love this company!! -The Regional Manager runs the region like mean girls. -The future of the company is unknown due to upper management not properly managing money. -The company has us hire a ton of associates, and than out of the blue says they are over spent so we have to cut hours. -The company is constantly running out of product in the warehouse. -We are suppose to be getting all this new product that has yet to happen.

    Pros

Fun people to work with at least when i was there.

Fun environment, Amazing product, my fellow managers were a great group and my DM was incredibly supportive and a great partner. Upper management is very good about taking the pulse of the store managers and truly wants honest feedback on which to act.

    Cons

Customer traffic can be Very slow, training programs were changing quickly, outpaced by tech but are improving by leaps and bounds.

    Pros

Great work life balance. Good communication with upper management. Great team that works well together. Good benefits. Incentives are excellent. Good environment. Lots of tasting of new products.
