    StarStarStarStarStar

    I worked at Greensky

    Pros

Above average pay Friendly coworkers Growing company

    Cons

Poor management who violate HR policy Employees are at fault for their poor policies and procedures Bonuses are contingent on management’s ability to create an accurate audit guide which they failed to do for the entirety of my tenure.

    Advice to Management

Take responsibility for your poor management skills and stop using your employees as scapegoats.

I worked at Greensky full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Free Coffee and Soft Drinks Ability to Build Relationships Across Business Units

    Cons

Google "GreenSky" and Forbes Magazine, Wall Street Journal, and Atlanta Business Journal. That's all you need to know. And if that wasn't enough: Management is way too top-heavy. New leadership is brought in all the time, but they wind up being nothing but more lipstick on a sloppy pig. High turnover. Lack of appreciation for long-time employees. No advancement or professional development, unless management... likes you. Lack of clarity and consistency in their processes. Poor communication. They literally make some things up as they go. Metrics used for evaluations and merit pay have no rhyme or reason. It's up to the discretion of the manager and whether or not they like you.

    Advice to Management

There's no sense in giving any advice, they're going to do what they want to do, anyway. The CEO is trying to sell the company.

    Pros

The title will help you get a job somewhere else. Recruiters were in my inbox every other day.

    Cons

Everyone is sold on a career advancement dream... But it's a big joke!

    Advice to Management

I worked at GreenSky for less than a year and this is my honest observation.. You need to pay your employees!! This is a big scheme! You hire someone in a BDC or ISS role with the hopes of "promoting" them to a CGM role without raising their pay..... THAT'S A JOKE!! Stop selling people that the commission is their incentive for a "promotion". Managing a CGM book takes a lot of work and the book that the CGM... receives may not be decent from the start, this is why raising the base pay should be mandatory!... There are too many politics involved. Management can't keep their mouth shut, employees can't go to management and voice a concern or talk about something personal without the management member telling others... It's ridiculous. Members of the "Enterprise" team don't even get a pay raise when moving from Core CGM to Enterprise CGM.. I heard about them talking on numerous occasions of how their pay sucked compared to market, most of them make around the 60k range... That's way underpaid for what they're asked to do!!! The Enterprise Reps don't even make an OTE of 100k, that's ridiculous.. Enterprise reps at other companies have a base pay of 100k at minimum!! Think about it, I'm sure the Enterprise Reps grow their book by 3 to 5 million a month each, that's 30+ Million in growth per year.... So you're telling me you can't even give them 100k base out of 30+ million???????? WOW! It's unreal that an "industry leader" won't pay their most important team what they deserve.

I worked at Greensky full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The people that I worked with, and the benefits.

    Cons

They will overload you with work and then act surprised when your behind. Management doesn’t know their left from right, they change policy’s and procedures daily and don’t remember what they told you.

    Advice to Management

Put things in writing, coach your agents, tell them how you want the job done.
