Pros
The staff are friendly and helpful and management are approachable. HETAS gives a good amount of annual leave, pay and the occasional lovely bonus. The company is open to various fundraisers that are suggested by members of staff. They like to be all inclusive and always strives to increase staff morale. HETAS genuinely seem to take a personal interest in looking after their staff and I can say this from personal experience as they have been extremely thoughtful and accommodating towards me during some very challenging personal circumstances. HETAS have been flexible with considering changes to working requests and they generally just try to be open to anything and everything within reason!
Cons
I cannot think of any.

Pros
Great management, always very supportive, reassuring and always have time to show gratitude to hard work. Social and relaxed environment, the office is open-plan so that you are free to walk over to different departments and ask for advice etc. Everyone is always willing to help and senior management don't hide away in private offices. Exciting company to work for, growing massively as a company and name across the UK, lots of opportunity for progression internally.
Cons
Can't think of any for me personally, but there is a lot of information to take in about the industry, so I can see why some people may find that daunting when starting a new job.

Pros
Working at HETAS is my first and only office-based role, I started as a customer support officer and now work as a marketing executive. The company saw the potential to allow me to develop and learn new skills based on my journalism degree. They invest in people so that you can grow within your role or move into other departments, expanding your knowledge and skills. There’s a staff forum that supports all employees in bringing ideas and suggestions forward. They also support a lot of charity days and fundraisers as a company, which is great to be involved in. They offer a generous amount of annual leave and a Christmas shutdown of the office. I think the people I work with are the biggest benefit and why I’ve been with the company for over 3 years now.
Cons
The company has gone through a period of expansion and growth since I've been working at HETAS, and I think that you will always encounter issues with employing more people, finding the right people for the roles, and maintaining open and honest communication across the business. I don’t believe there are any unique cons to working at HETAS compared to other workplaces.

HETAS Response2y
Thank you for taking the time to review HETAS and your experiences in our employment. We are saddened to hear that you feel that HETAS was a toxic place to work. As an employer, we work hard to ensure that our employees enjoy their time at HETAS and we’ve worked hard to make our office a positive experience. Many employees have worked with HETAS for many years. For any employees leaving, we hold exit interviews to provide departing staff with the opportunity to share their experiences. Recent exit interviews haven’t identified any negative experiences when employed by HETAS. We are striving to make our company a great place to work with an employee led approach. We have an open employee forum allowing people to share their views, give positive or negative feedback and steer future decision making across the business. As an organisation undergoing growth, we do appreciate there are times when workload can be a challenge, but we work hard to support the wellbeing of our employees. Our team work hard on communications too: from a weekly update, team meetings through to quarterly employee meetings and more. We continue to work hard through our employee forum and feedback to make HETAS a great place to work. Our communications are reviewed on an ongoing basis and we aim for an inclusive approach. Again, we apologise if you feel messages were portrayed in a tone you didn’t appreciate, it certainly isn’t our intention. We are sorry your experience at HETAS of over nearly four years wasn’t a positive one. If you would like to provide further feedback please email hr@hetas.co.uk. We wish you every success in your future career.

Pros
Caring work environment. Everyone likes to ensure others are okay, pick each other up, and will check in on one another. They take the time where needed and encourage people to check in on their own mental health and take breaks where required. Compared to a lot of businesses very hard, get on with it attitude, it's refreshing.
Cons
It is a busy environment a lot of the time. Getting a hold of people can be a small challenge if you're not in the same area with working from home. There can be days where it gets busy as is the same with any line of work. Some days the phone can ring over and over. This is something to keep in mind for those who do not enjoy high volumes of phone calls. However, there is overflow and people available to take up calls if you require a few moments after a particularly hard phone call.

Cons
