I hadn’t planned on writing a review, but after reading others experiences, I felt compelled to share my perspective on Horn.
The company brags in showcasing its financial success, but this doesn’t translate into fair compensation for employees. Raises are now tied to performance, yet the system often feels discouraging even strong contributions can be overshadowed by managers focusing on minor shortcomings.
Managers tends to prioritize their own interests, and when challenges arise, employees are not always supported. The culture is also difficult to navigate, workplace gossip and drama are more prevalent here than anywhere else I’ve worked. Unfortunately, this environment makes it hard to focus, even with attempts to tune out distractions.
I’ve worked in a number of organizations, but my experience here has been uniquely frustrating. While there may be opportunities for growth, the lack of genuine support and the unhealthy work culture make it challenging to thrive.
Like I said before, I’m only here for the insurance, and obviously I need to live. The company and its managers definitely make it evident that they really don’t care about you, only the money they gain. The five star reviews appear to be from managers who are exploiting the perks they have and are completely oblivious from the reality most employees.
