    I have been working at HUB International full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Hub is a Good Place to work. They don't work you overtime, and if you do work overtime, you get paid for it. They have team meetings once a month, which can be fun. They recognize hard work pretty consistently, or try to. They have pot lucks and activities pretty regularly too. There are a lot of women in this job. They also do half Fridays off during the summer, which is nice.

    Their pay is less than their competitors.

    Advice to Management

    Managers above all else should be 'people first.' Knowing the processes well is okay, but knowing the team well is more important.

    decent pay and good people in the organization

    Cons

    lack of investing in the future, everything is very short sighted, as its all about generating sales and profit but no investment to achieve that. clients should expect more from Hub

    Advice to Management

    investing in people and long term investments are really required to scale. everything is run short term and no long term view is looked at because of the PE ownership. not great environment

    Pros

    There are some decent managers, but they are essentially handcuffed by the rigid environment

    Cons

    -Literally the opposite of an Agile environment -Cube life -No flexibility to work remote -Inconsistent/nonexistent COE /SOP -HR organization is as dysfunctional as you can get -Office environment is like a morgue. Do you like working in a fast paced environment where your opinions are heard and implemented? Avoid HUB at all costs.

    Advice to Management

    Change to AGILE environment. If you want top talent from Amazon, Facebook, Salesforce etc. you have to improve SOOO many things. Salary is consistently 20% below market, minimum. Leadership has zero transparency, change this. HR leadership comes from rigid environments and are not willing to change or adapt new and common practices

    Ability to climb the ladder. Wide Varity of markets to use.

    Cons

    If you are in an office that is going through a conversion, it can be very stressful and overwhelming. My office is still in transition and we are short handed. They aren't being very helpful with helping us, but I know when things get better, there will be more pros than cons.
