Pros
Salary is not bad but they will only pay 80% as the rest is treated as a performance based bonus.
Cons
Awful work life balance with absolutely no respect for days off or rest periods. Very little understanding or respect for local laws and cultures outside China. Employees expected to pay for things like mobile phones (including setting up their own contracts for work purposes) and claim it back. Installing their software on your personal computer and working with your own equipment is also expected. Literally nothing is provided. Internal IT applications and almost all email communication in Chinese or badly translated English.

There are no pros working for Hainan. A completely unorganised and amateurish organisation with no effective management and poor staff relations.
Cons
Underpaid, Unprofessional Management, 5 Star Airline in name only, Bullying, Don’t waste your time with this company if you need quality career life.
