I have been working at Havas Media full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Learning curve, you can find geniuses working there that will help you grow exponentially. The culture is fantastic, you really feel at home and there are tons of media perks happening. While you work quite a lot in agencies, you can have a decent work- life balance although it ultimately depends on your department and senior management.

    Cons

Salaries are below average and don't represent the truthful performance of an individual, career opportunities are sometimes based on your relationship with senior management and that might negatively impact juniors.

I have been working at Havas Media full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - fun culture and loads of socials - people are specialists in their areas and pretty intelligent - lots of variety of clients - some amazing wellbeing ideas and a nice lounge for relaxation - office is good - generous canteen and free drinks on Thursdays - they need to progress their benefits to be less millennial focused and things that offer value long term for non 20-year-olds.

    Cons

    - very average salaries in relation to workload - no real progression or plans to progress people in roles that often which is a shame. - senior leaders can be very disrespectful - they need to start listening to the peole below them to gain their respect before giving orders. - lack of new ideas sometimes - need to strive for this as a bare minimum.

  10. "Great in-office environment, needs to work on nurturing young talent"

    3.0
    • Work/Life Balance
    • Culture & Values
    • Diversity & Inclusion
    • Career Opportunities
    • Compensation and Benefits
    • Senior Management
Former Employee - Ad Operations in London, England, England

I worked at Havas Media full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - brilliant office environment - spectrum of clients and the ability to get stuck into various working projects is great - Management understand that young talent are struggling in WFH. - Some managers are really doing their best to maintain the team dynamics and positivity amidst some really challenging times. - Good CSR initiatives, D+I, Roots, Employee Engagement. - A good work/life balance can be really easily maintained if you set boundaries, and it is encouraged. - You get to work across so many teams because of how much integrated working there is. Especially if you work on projects that involve the Village.

    Cons

    - Not proactive, simply reactive in their promotions and progression. - Haven't adapted well to WFH, just moved to a HEAVY email culture with far too many hours spent in random meetings. Not sure if this is just a norm for all business. - Without the office they've lost a major plus to working there. - Although teams vary and some are incredibly well managed and just lose out when senior red tape get in the way of team progression. - Feels like staff really ask too much when they ask to be paid their worth or even office equipment to work (from home) on.
