    Cons

Can be a little strict on working hours, some consultants are quite competitive when chasing fees.

    Pros

Great place to learn the tools of the trade regarding recruitment. You get out what you put in and this is the same in any rec role Great transparent comm structure as well as celebration of success and promotion

    Cons

Not many. In my time there, the hours were long and you couldn't work from home ( pre covid) Whilst they have a great training program and support program, their flexibility at the time left little to be desired.

    Gaslighting, bullying, cult like behaviour.

    Pros

    - Some good people up to Manager level. Really good colleagues. Good socials in the office.

    Cons

    - Cult like behaviour and brainwashing techniques used in training. - Lie to customers/clients. - Lie to staff. - Gaslight staff. - Unsympathetic towards long term physical and mental illness. - Unsympathetic after a colleague nearly collapsed in the office from Covid, despite winning them £15,000 in one day. - Inflexible. - Refuse to negotiate rates because it 'sets a precedent'. This is the most ridiculous statement. Hays competitors had cut their rates to 10% during Covid. - Gaslighting and bullying from directors about 'lack of activity on desk' after coming back from long term illness. - Terrible IT system. They claim that this is the best in the UK, but it is slow and often breaks down. Laptops must have been made from spare parts because they kept breaking. - Poor pay/commission. - Impossible to hit targets.
