I have been working at HelloFresh full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I started working at HelloFresh around 4 months ago and I'm really loving it. There's a fantastic work place culture and I love everyone I work with, including my team, other departments and the senior management team. Although there's a lot of work to do, I haven't felt over-worked or stressed once. There's a great benefit scheme that includes free gym (!!!) and discounts on boxes for yourself. I feel there's a lot of opportunity to progress my career and move forward - including lots of training sessions on a vast array of subjects (professional and personal progression) that you can sign up to.

    Cons

Decisions can be made quite quickly and projects change direction - but that's all part of the excitement of working at a growing company!

Great benefits, such as discount on boxes, getting to work in a beautiful building and Friday beers
Encouraged to have a health work/life balance

    Cons

Its a fast paced business, with projects always changing and developing but this also means its an exciting place to work with new challenges.

I have been working at HelloFresh full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Very fast paced, data driven culture with plenty of opportunities to grow and develop.
Strong culture and team spirit with good work life balance.
Very fast paced exciting category but unforgiving if you let your foot off the gas.
Lots of bright and interesting people to work with and learn from

    Cons

Not necessarily a con but HelloFresh is no longer a start-up so offers a different experience to earlier stage businesses

Fun culture - lots of social events and food! Listen and act
Learning and development opportunities - lots from public speaking to excel to assertiveness to digital marketing
Never dull - lots of new launches and initiatives to work on
    Value their customers

    Cons

Some ambiguity in what is done globally vs locally in the marketing team, which can be frustrating

I have been working at HelloFresh full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I currently work at Hellofresh (UK) and I joined because I love food and wanted a start-up like culture.

I've found the environment to be a good balance between a medium sized company and a small start-up. HelloFresh is similar to small company through the flat structure, giving one the ability to work with the senior management team. Hellofresh also gives employees the perks and benefits of a larger company (BUPA, gym benefit, etc.).

You're given responsibility as soon as you walk through the door and with that comes the opportunity to learn.

The office always full of food with free breakfast (including eggs!), take home ingredients and a steady stream of meals coming out of the test kitchen. There is always something to snack on or taste.

    Cons

At times there can be poor communication between teams.

I have been working at HelloFresh full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

+ Very open culture with little hierarchy
+ Loads of good opportunities to progress if you work hard and show potential
+ Food food food - if you're a foody, HelloFresh is a great place to work
+ Be part of an amazing new sector as the industry leaders.

    Cons

    - Lacks structure sometimes but has got much better over the past year and is making a big difference

I have been working at HelloFresh part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

In short - I love my job! After working here for 2 years I left HelloFresh UK for a year to explore another role, and I missed working for this company, the people AND our office from day one! Now that I'm back it's amazing to see that the people are still the same, how much the company has grown and how much the product has evolved.

People who work here are incredibly passionate about the company and product. You don't find anyone who just sees this as a 9-5 really. If you work very hard, you are rewarded and recognised for what you've done and people generally make an impact to the business, no matter what level they are at.

To be honest, maybe my favourite part is the office! We are working in an award winning trendy East London warehouse with lots of cosy break out areas!

    Cons

Very fast pace of working. Sometimes it takes people a while to get used to it

I worked at HelloFresh part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

As long as you can pass a basic english and math quiz the job is yours.

    Cons

Will tell you in Induction that piercing are okay as long as they are removed or covered with plasters for the shift.
Will then tell you ONE week later that the policy was changed THREE weeks ago and they can't let you do the shift with any piercings in.
Will claim to contact you during the week to put in what days you want to work and never contact you unless you initiate it.

    Advice to Management

Ensure all managers are on the same page to prevent communication errors like this.
