      Supportive and Collaborative workplace

      Pros

The company is growing and there is a real focus on development and investment in the business. Across all departments, there is a team spirit and everyone wants to work together. The Senior Management are very supportive and their is an open attitude to new ideas and ways of working.

      Cons

Very few. There are challenges in any work place, but the new CEO is making some very positive changes to move things forward.

      Pros

Ditto to the majority of reviews, a great bunch of people to work with. You get milk, coffee and teabags provided.

      Cons

Difficult to know where to start. At the top I guess, 2 owners with very archaic but defined views on how to run a business and very reluctant to spend any money to bring it into the 21st century. And it's been said before that there is a lack of trust hence them dabbling in all parts of the business and changing decisions sometimes just because they can and not because it's the right decision. Which can have a detrimental effect to the business. A new CEO that has promised but not delivered on anything, preferring to sit behind his closed office door and not venture out to interact with any of his teams at all. There is hope for change but no evidence that this will become reality. A staff survey took place when he started with the business of which people were pleased they could get an input and help drive change - but the results of the survey were never published to staff. How do people know what the starting point is for improvement and where it could end up? A management team whose skills they were hired for are just being wasted by not playing on their strengths. Who want to fight for the greater good but are faced with challenge after challenge. Everyone just looks tired of battle after battle with the owners and CEO. Well educated and intelligent new starters who come into the business excited to be part of a successful company until they realise the infrastructure is at least 10 years out of date, no mod cons in sight. Management who have had the blame culture instilled in them for so long they don't realise how utterly demoralising and damaging it is to keep practicing it. A very frustrating place to work, so many talented people but so many constraints to most people's everyday job. So many people just aren't respected or acknowledged for their skills and expertise. It's no surprise that more people leave than start but with no clear direction evident this trend could well continue.

New CEO needs to shake things up.....any change will be good

      Pros

The majority of the staff are great people to work and socialise with. A new CEO has joined the company and is set to make significant changes while keeping the owners as far away from the operational running of the business as possible.

      Cons

To date far too many decisions have been made by one of the two owners, who's track record is to not value staff, maintain tight cost controls and to behave aggressively towards clients. This affects day to day work across the business; there is a problem with low staff morale which is reflected in the number of staff leaving sighting lack of training, lack of engagement and poor leadership. The company has been extremely successful for many years but the customer base is shrinking and investment has been minimal considering the considerable cash reserves. Staff who are not leaving are relying on the new CEO to roll out wide-scale changes asap.
