      Pros

We are really well looked after with great employee benefits, from the big things like pay, bonus, pension to the small gestures like advent calendars and Easter eggs. We pride ourselves on delivering a great service to our customers and there is a great investment in developing our knowledge and skills with a huge array of learning opportunities.

      Cons

For me, it's quite a long way from home and my journey can take longer than I would like.

      Pros

Great people. Good work/life balance (most of the time). Pace of change: The business is constantly moving forward, makes the work interesting and is very good for personal development. Genuinely aims to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

      Cons

Systems need development & some processes quite outdated. A long way to go with digitisation as still heavily reliant on paper. Lack of collaboration across different business units (although this is improving).

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We're really glad you enjoy working for HCUK. Systems and digitisation are high on the agenda with several of our business units completing or nearing completion of large software migrations in 2020. Your HR Team

      Pros

Family type of atmosphere - built up from the company growing in size over recent years but retaining its cosy/ small family spirit. Positive profits year on year

      Cons

Technology innovation hasn't quite happened - seems a long way off happening Not really acting like a contemporary, tech-driven company - feels about +10 years behind the times Change seems to always take longer and cost more than is planned and needed - other companies seem to fair a lot better by comparison and move far quicker No examples of real innovation in play Bloated technology dept, lack of ability to deliver at speed Divides between core business and technology departments - gets in the way of real progress
