I worked at Hollister Co. part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good discount, learnt a lot about the retail industry, management was good and did the best they could to create fair rotas, for some the zero hour contracts could be a positive, especially for students.

    Cons

Zero hour contracts are a nightmare, no guaranteed hours with "call in" shifts where you call an hour before your shift to see if your needed, minimum wage pay, managers expect a lot from you and if you don't preform well on first shifts (even though you're still training) you're unlikely to get many more unless it's a very busy week, such as update week.

I worked at Hollister Co. part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Co-workers are all very friendly.

Shifts are very flexible as they only offer 0 hour contracts, you can book any days/weeks off 2 weeks in advance on the online system.

You get 5/10 items for 50% off every month.

You are not expected to wear the brands clothes to work, you can wear anything as long as it doesn't have another brands name or logo on it.

    Cons

    Minimum wage.

Hours are given based on performance and whether the managers like you or not. If you don't get along with the manager you can expect to get maybe 4/5 hours a week, maybe not even that.

No chance for pay rise or to progress. To be a manager you have to have a degree, if you don't even if you've worked there for a long time you cannot become a manager.
