Nice 401k. There's a five word minimum for this field, but I can't think of anything else.
Cons
No work/life balance. People leave quicker than can be hired, which means more work for everyone else. A lot of ex-GE folks have come over and brought that culture with them.

Pros
Big company with a degree of job protection should the market turn south. Some nice little perks (compared to very small fish) such as good travel, good selection of hotels etc to stay. Good expense policy (get research books, some digital tech if required) which is rarely quibbled.
Cons
They are massively understaffed (to keep the share price high), but this is literally killing the staff that remain. Occupational health in terms of stress leave is very high here and that is for a reason.. The work life balance is terrible. On projects I was regularly working 80 - 100hrs a week which is unsustainable. Added to that the "Honeywell" work (not even client related) is hugely burdensome and add little to no value to your job. It's funny when you join Honeywell you are given an E-id number... To them that is what you are, you are cannon fodder to be thrown in the machine to help it run. If you like your personal time, don't expect to get much here as the old mobile device will keep you pegged to your job well into the night.
