Pros

If you hear about it in a TED talk, the CEO was probably doing it 6 months before that. Progressive, smart and great place to work. Very future oriented, great team, great experience.

Cons

Haven't got a bad word to say.

Pros

Great place to work. This is a company that rewards performers and appreciates individuals that don't have to be micromanaged. I've been at HousingWire for nearly two years and it's easily one of the best places I've ever worked. Fantastic people and a fun culture.

Cons

None to speak of.

Thank you for the positive feedback. While I wasn't at the company in 2014 to take credit, this type of culture lives on. We'll continue to reward and promote performers, and my door remains open for new ideas, collaboration and feedback. -- Clayton Collins, CEO

Pros

Performance driven. If you can perform, you’re rewarded. If you can’t, you’re shown the door. Professionals are treated like professionals here, no kid gloves. New employee bonus plan is nice. Company is pretty flexible in terms of work-life balance when needed.

Cons

Not really a negative, but you’re going to do a lot of work. More than your job description. It’s media, and it’s a small company. You either can hack that, or you can’t.

Thanks so much for the positive feedback. We're trying to achieve great things at HW, and sometimes that requires a lot of work. I don't deny that. For better or worse, I'll be right there putting in the hours with the team. -- Clayton Collins
